Basic information about the grants

Our aim is to support the development of Škoda Auto's home regions - Mladoboleslav, Rychnov and Vrchlab, and to help where it is needed most. Grant applications can only be submitted electronically at www.nfsa.grantys.cz

Grant Support Principles

Great goals with long-term impact can usually only be achieved through collaboration. Therefore, it is also important for us in our assessment whether and how other partners and the local community are involved in the project.

Sustainability

The idea of sustainability is very important to us. We approach it from an environmental and social perspective, and our guiding principles include:

• create new from old (refurbished/retrofitted equipment, brownfield regeneration)

• efficient resource management (emission reduction, zero-waste actions, possibly. reusable/degradable utensils, waste sorting)

• defending the origin view (preference for local products and produce, non-industrialized food)

• use of active & alternative mobility

• active promotion of inclusion and diversity (e.g. adapted events for seniors, disabled, products from sheltered workshops)

• focus on needs of the local community (working with local organisations/volunteers in organising events)

• respect for local traditions and historical legacies

• inspiration from examples of good practice
