Public benefit organisations can now apply for grants for projects developing leisure and educational activities for children and adolescents. There is also a call to support the social inclusion and education of Ukrainian children and adults fleeing the war.
We continue to support the residents of our regions Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov and Vrchlabí and have opened two new grant calls for applications.
We see that supporting education and personal development in childhood and adolescence is essential for our society. Therefore, with the Children Matter programme we want to support leisure activities and informal educational activities for children from 6 to 20 years old.
Non-profit organizations, schools, churches and other organizations can submit their projects until 22 May and apply for a grant of up to CZK 100,000.
In cooperation with KOVO MB, we are also responding to the refugee wave caused by the war in Ukraine and will support the social inclusion of children and adults from the ranks of incoming foreigners.
We are aware that proper integration consists of several interlinked and related activities. We consider it necessary to systematically focus on providing basic language education, to involve refugees in civic life and leisure activities, to support them in finding housing, work and integration into the regular educational process.
This corresponds to the Together for Ukraine grant, which consists of three pillars: a) support for educational staff, b) support for educational capacity of schools, c) creation and expansion of leisure and community activities for children and adults.
Applications can be submitted in two waves. The first round of applications will be open until 15 May, and the immediately following second wave will close on 15 June. There is no maximum contribution amount.
Applications are submitted exclusively online via the Grantys system: www.nfsa.grantys.cz.
