What's going on?
We stand by the fact that active people with an interest in their surroundings and outlook are the basis of a functioning community. Foreign experience, getting to know a new culture and customs, new friends, all this broadens our horizons and teaches us new skills. That is why we are announcing a grant program for high school students in the Škoda Auto regions who are interested in their surroundings. Successful students will be provided with a scholarship of up to CZK 250,000 for a stay abroad in the 2024/2025 school year organized by AFS Intercultural Programs.
Any secondary school student who is 15 years old on the date of submission of the application and who is studying at a secondary school in the regions where Škoda Auto has its production plants* has a chance to travel.

Look around your surroundings - what do you think is an area for improvement; how it is possible to improve the quality of life in the region; How can you positively influence the lives of your neighbors? Project design
The project must be aimed at improving life in the regions of Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov and Vrchlabí. It is important to emphasize the community so that the project has an overlap with the lives of others and has an overall positive impact on the region. At the same time, the project should be feasible, we would like you to implement it after returning from abroad. Feasibility will be one of the aspects to be taken into account in the evaluation.
The topic is sustainability, but you don't have to limit yourself to environmental topics, the concept of sustainability is also associated with education or equal opportunities, for example. You can get inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which can be found here: https://www.osn.cz/osn/hlavni-temata/sdgs/
