In cooperation with Step by Step ČR, o.p.s., we have launched a project to support kindergartens – START TOGETHER IN THE VRCHLABÍ REGION, or everything I really need to know, I learned in kindergarten.
The pre-school period is crucial from the point of view of human development. That is why a program has been running in kindergartens in the region for a year now, which has the ambition to change the established traditional approaches in local kindergartens.
The Start Together educational program is an open didactic system that offers high-quality and comprehensive education based on constructivist pedagogy and a respectful approach to the child. For example, a modern educational program takes mistakes as a natural part of the learning process and develops children's independence, critical thinking, self-responsibility and teamwork. Among other things, the project offers kindergartens cooperation including workshops, consultations, methodological support, team motivation, development courses and help with the preparation of activities for parents.
Positive feedback from kindergartens that are testing the new methodology is proof that this is the right way to go.
Last week, one of the meetings of representatives of the participating kindergartens took place at the castle in Vrchlabí, where there was a very pleasant atmosphere full of mutual inspiration.
