On the website you will find information about our activities and supported projects in the past year. Last year we supported a total of 225 projects in the Mladá Boleslav, Rychnov, Vrchlabí and Jilemnice regions.

We are developing the regions where Škoda has production plants. For example, together with partners, we revitalise public spaces and help connect local communities. In addition to these imaginary bridges, we were also behind the completion of three physical bridges last year. A footbridge over the D10, another over the Jizera River in the part called "U Kofoly", and a footbridge over the Jizera River near Česana in Mladá Boleslav, which was awarded in the Construction of the Year of the Central Bohemia Region 2023 competition and in the first year of the Mladá Boleslav Architecture Award. Another success is the rescue of a historically valuable brownfield in the centre of Mladá Boleslav and its transformation into the Pluhárna community centre.
We have supported many other projects in 13 grant programmes responding to regional needs. The calls focus on support for civil society and community activities, cultural development, transport safety, support for social services, and foreign scholarships for high school students.
We also focus on formal and non-formal education. The target groups of the programmes are schools at all educational levels, as well as regional school founders or leisure providers and school communities.
We also assist in the development and professionalisation of public benefit organisations. The aim of these activities is to promote education and raise awareness of their importance and specific activities among the general public.
We are also a long-term partner of the znesnáze21 platform, through which we support individuals in difficult life situations in the regions where Škoda Auto operates.
Dialogue and partnership with experts in our fields of activity is the cornerstone of our activities. KOVO unions provide valuable insight into the needs of employees in the regions where we are at home. We cooperate with the VIZE 0 Platform and Kooperativa on the topic of traffic safety, with the Bohemian Heritage Fund and representatives of primary art schools in the field of culture, the KRNAP Administration is an expert guarantor on biodiversity issues, and znesnáze21 helps, among other things, to strengthen public solidarity in support of difficult life stories.
