The future lies in innovation, the strategic partnership expands the possibilities for entrepreneurship development in Mladá Boleslav region.
We have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Central Bohemia Innovation Centre (SIC), the Central Bohemia Region (STC) and HUB Mladá Boleslav (HUB MB) to strengthen the innovation and business infrastructure in the Mladá Boleslav region. This partnership represents a significant step not only towards the development of innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, but also the promotion of public benefit organisations and cross-sectoral knowledge transfer in the region.
The Memorandum aims at the region's readiness and adaptability to the future challenges of its transformation. The key words are entrepreneurship and long-term sustainability. The partners will thus primarily support start-ups, innovative companies and public benefit organisations, especially those that focus on long-term activities with a clear positive impact on society.
The cooperation includes sharing best practices, know-how, organising joint events and implementing strategic actions that will increase the innovation capacity of entrepreneurs and organisations. This cooperation also plans to transfer ideas and innovations into practice. One of the first examples of cooperation is the joint involvement of partners in the emerging coworking, innovation and education centre in the historic Klementinka building in Mladá Boleslav. Educational, mentoring and networking activities for entrepreneurs, public benefit organisations and students are already taking place there. New coworking and association spaces are being worked on intensively and should open during the spring of next year.
Together with SIC, STC and HUB MB, we are thus creating a strong partnership to strengthen the business environment, innovation and support for public benefit organisations not only in Mladá Boleslav, but also in the wider Central Bohemia region.
Michal Kadera, chairman of the foundation's board of trustees, says of the signed memorandum, "Mladá Boleslav has always been shaped by the entrepreneurship, creativity and hard work of its locals. We are now building on this legacy in our joint journey to further develop this regional potential. A journey that aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial base, to prepare it for future challenges through innovation and, in the spirit of the principles of our foundation, to support the flourishing of local communities and strengthen the relationship with the place where we live. Cooperation between key partners within the Central Bohemian Region gives this initiative the necessary background and valuable know-how. I am looking forward to seeing the inspiring initiatives and projects from public benefit organisations and local entrepreneurs that this deepened cooperation will enable."
