The grants will be announced in two waves. In the first one, open for applications from 22 June, we will focus on supporting civil society and helping disadvantaged groups. From September onwards, it will be possible to apply for projects in the fields of education, traffic education and safety.
We are aware that active people are the drivers of social life and interpersonal relationships. Thanks to the activities of associations and communities, public spaces come alive, nature is cleaner or we remember our traditions. In addition, their staff and volunteers include people who are ready to lend a helping hand in times of need.
That is why this year we will also support activities that will contribute to improving the quality of life and removing barriers. Unlike in previous years, public benefit organisations operating not only in the Mladá Boleslav region, but also in the other regions where ŠKODA has plants - Rychnov and Vrchlabí - will be able to submit their projects.
The aim of the grant program called Here I am at Home is to support citizens in their public benefit activities and projects that will lead to the development of community life, especially in the areas of neighborhood relations, culture, ecology and animal protection, education or sports.
The Region without Barriers grant call is aimed at projects that will help reduce social exclusion, enable and improve the quality of care in the home environment or lead to the provision and increase of palliative care capacities.
Grant calls in the first wave will be open from 22 June and applications will be accepted until 21 July for Here I am at Home or 11 August for Region without Barriers. Project applications can be submitted exclusively electronically at www.nfsa.grantys.cz. Detailed rules and a preview of the content of the application can be found at the links below.
The second wave focusing on education, traffic safety and education will open for applications in September.
