Vrchlabí has a shortage of leisure activities for adults. The local population is offered more sports activities, some cultural activities in the form of cinema and theatre, but there is a lack of other leisure activities where they can associate and develop. We are creating a space for local small communities of people who share a common theme because we see that this is exactly what is missing. The aim of the society is to offer the public a variety of stimuli to come together over different topics, but also to showcase local talented people. We are convinced that we do not need to invite lecturers from big or distant cities, because we can also find skilful lecturers here.
