The woodcarving symposium called Transformations of Wood is a three-day event where 5 carvers create wooden sculptures on a given theme with a chainsaw in front of the audience. There is an accompanying programme, a presentation of handicrafts, and this year, the casting of a bell into a carved bell tower from last year. After the event, the wooden sculptures are placed in the surroundings all year round and form part of nature trails that are open to the general public.
