Existing social services do not include carers as a target group, which means that state-funded support activities are not available for them. However, we are convinced of the benefits of a psychorehabilitation stay for families and of the necessity of consultations with a psychologist and a sexual counsellor if necessary. For parents caring for a child with a disability, it is crucial to have space to share their fears, feelings and emotions, and a free consultation with a psychologist and sex counsellor helps them deal with various situations not only during their stay, but also throughout the year.
